Its time to party like it's 1907!
The City of Toppenish is putting on a birthday celebration of the century! With events planned throughout the year, we are sure you will find something for everyone in your family.
Toppenish is the city of Murals and Museums. People throughout the world have came and appreciated the 70 historical murals, and western theme.
Toppenish is where the West still lives, and the events this year are meant to show this! Indian celebrations, the Pony Express, a Mexican Kermess, and more are in store for the entire community.
Explore the website and check out the events listings.
If you are interested in helping out with any event or have ideas how you can help at any level, just let us know by calling 865-3201, or 865-4055.
How long have you been here?
As part of the Toppenish Centennial, the Centennial Commitee is seeking submissions for the oldest living resident in the Toppenish Area, the longest lived resident of Toppenish (not necessarily residing in Toppenish), and surviving members of the original 5 families.
We would like to extend invitations to these persons to help with our Centennial Parade in April 2007.
Contact Sam at the Review-Independent (509) 865-4055 if you fit these criteria!
